Bond voor Materialenkennis

De Bond voor Materialenkennis is als onafhankelijke beroepsorganisatie al 70 jaar een ideaal trefpunt voor onderzoekers en technici uit bedrijven en instellingen. De Bond vervult een brugfunctie tussen theorie en praktijk, tussen wetenschap en bedrijfsleven. De Bond voor Materialenkennis stelt zich ten doel kennis te bevorderen en te verspreiden op het gebied van materialen en de verwerking en de toepassing ervan in de praktijk. De Bond is niet alleen actief op het gebied van de materiaalkunde zelf (metalen, bouwmaterialen, agromaterialen, kunststoffen, verf, rubber), maar ook op het gebied van bijzondere materiaalaspecten, zoals tribologie, corrosie, reologie, hechting, warmtebehandeling, vermoeiing en niet-destructief onderzoek. Veel aandacht gaat ook uit naar het verwerken en bewerken (o.a. met lasers), naar ontwerpen en construeren, naar milieuaspecten, duurzaamheid en schadetolerantie. Op al deze gebieden bevordert de Bond onderzoek en verspreidt hij kennis, zowel in openbare als besloten bijeenkomsten, via onderzoeksrapporten, tijdschriftartikelen en voorlichtingsbladen.

International Rubber Study Group

The International Rubber Study Group provides a forum for the discussion of matters affecting the supply and demand for both synthetic and natural rubber. It covers all aspects of the world rubber industry, including marketing, shipping distribution, trade in raw materials and the manufacture and sale of rubber products.
The Study Group is the authoritative source of statistical data supplied by Member Governments and other countries and organizations on production, consumption and trade in rubber and rubber products. It prepares current estimates and forecasts future trends, and undertakes and publishes statistical, economic and techno-economic studies on specific aspects of the industry.

Nederlandse Vereniging van Rubber- en Kunststoffabrikanten (NVR)

The Nederlandse Vereniging van Rubber- en Kunststoffabrikanten (NVR) was founded on October 29, 1920 by a large group of companies who manufacture rubber and plastic products in the Netherlands. The NVR is a fully independent legal entity and is registered at the Chamber of Commerce in The Hague. Within the NVR the member companies are clustered in sections. The Section Technical Rubber Articles (TRA) is one of them.

The goal of the NVR is to represent the interests of its member companies in the broadest sense of the word, both nationally and internationally. The main activity is to supply independent information about rubber and plastic products and its applications. The NVR is the organisation in the Netherlands for market parties, politics, environmental and consumer organisations, trade unions and other organisations. By transmitting knowledge, the NVR wants to contribute to practical standards, directives and legislation for the development, use, recycling and disposal of rubber and plastic products.

NRK

De NRK behartigt de belangen van de rubber-, recycling- en kunststofindustrie. Bij de NRK zijn ca. 450 bedrijven gebundeld in 20 brancheverenigingen.

The BPRI is affiliated to the Institute of Materials in the United Kingdom, and has a close association with ABIC/BVR.
